We have a wonderfully well equipped professional Portrait and Makeover studio at our home in Kidderminster, with easy parking right outside our door. We have a relaxed viewing room with 30" monitors and a lovely makeover suite.

We only shoot Three Boudoir or Makeover Photoshoots a week to create an amazing experience with us at our most creative. Let's start with Jane, she used to be a manager of daycare centers and for several years took a very keen, but part-time interest in photography & our photography business.

You can easily book a Sammy Southall Photography Experience for yourself or as a personalised gift voucher for your family or friends. The photography experience for all styles of shoots includes a consultation, a relaxed fun photoshoot and a 7" x 5" folder print worth 50, the creation and preparation of all your images for viewing on our BIG Screen in our VIP viewing room.
We began specialising in boudoir photography way back in 2004. Before that, though ladies frequently requested glamour & lingerie shots for themselves and for their partners and always seemed to manage to convey what they were after. The last 10 years have seen a massive increase in interest in classical style lingerie style shoots under the name of Boudoir Photography.

Went in feeling like Gloria the hippo from Madagascar, came out feeling like Jessica rabbit. So professional and felt at ease straight away, Kay was also amazing for my hair and make up. Boudoir Shoot - one word, WOW! Who on earth was that confident, happy woman looking back at me at the grand reveal at the end. Jane was fantastic from enquiry - she helped me to decide on lingerie, photo ideas and helped me to calm my silly nerves before travelling to the studio. Looking back those nerves were ridiculous. I arrived, was greeted by a very friendly Jane, we sat down and discussed the format of the shoot and looked at the sets I had bought with me. Sammy, photographer, came and met me and talked through the photos that I liked. Then, it was on to hair and make up with Kay who was fab, she is so knowledgable and talented with both hair and makeup. Kay have me some tips around make up application which was a lovely added bonus.
Time to get in to my shoot lingerie - Jane was fab, she helped me get ready and then took me through to the studio. Kay remained at the shoot helping me to get in to the correct poses and checking my hair and make up was looking fab throughout. Once the shoot, which lasted a good couple of hours, was finished I was offered a cup of tea and got myself changed.
Within 20 minutes Jane, Sammy and Kay were with me viewing my personalised video collage of all of the photos - literally couldn't believe how amazing the pictures came out. Thank you Jane, Sammy and Kay for holding my hand through a thoroughly empowering day

When I saw their work on Facebook I already knew, it will be Sammy Southall Photography, who will make my first boudoir pictures. I had my very first boudoir shoot with Jane, Sammy and Kay in February and I am really happy with their work; make up + hair and photography of me - AWESOME. Had a fantastic day with the team, who made me feel comfortable and part of the gang throughout the whole session. Kay did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup, Sam kept my energy upbeat throughout the shoot whilst taking the photos and Jane was sunshine personified; from contacting me to book the appointment, helping me with what to bring on. the day, welcoming myself and my husband on the day and everything else in between. Truly the nicest people and make you feel welcome, confident and relaxed while in the shoot. Sammy is lovely to be around and very experienced. Truly recommend them to anyone who wants to build up confidence and just have fun. They ask what you want to get out of the shoot which I found lovely due to you feeling in control of the pictures that are taken. Hair and makeup is truly Amazing, very flattering and not too much.

A boudoir shoot with Sammy Southall Photography is a must for every woman. What can I say about my experience at Sammy Southall photography.it was AMAZING! I wasn't very nervous but I wasn't sure what to expect but as soon as I walked through the door I was put totally at ease by Jane. Lovely surroundings and all very plush. Had my hair and makeup done exactly as I wanted then it was time for the shoot. Sammy was very professional and we all had a laugh throughout the shoot.
When I saw the photos, I was amazed at how beautiful they had made me look. It was extremely hard to pick 5 from all the lovely images but I'm very pleased with my choices. My husband loves them and I can't stop looking at them. I'm so glad I chose you guys. xxxxxxxx

We have been to Sammy Southall for many years to record special family moments and have always been thrilled with our experiences. This most recent time has been for my daughter to have a makeover photo shoot to celebrate her. The whole team were amazing. Jane is just wonderful in her enthusiasm and desire to make you feel special during the whole experience. Kay listened to our daughter and made her feel comfortable, creating an image that reflected who she was. Sammy is fantastic at making you feel at ease and has creative ideas to capture the essence of who you are in the photos.

As someone who avoids having photos taken I decided to book a shoot with Sammy Southall photography before my son's wedding. An utterly amazing experience from start to end. Jane met me and was so welcoming and reassuring as soon as I arrived. I started to relax. Kay was incredible at calming me whilst she did my make up which was so beautiful. Sammy listened to my concerns and worries when having my photo taken.
He was incredible at guiding me through the shoot alongside Kay with supported me throughout. The whole experience was wonderful and the photos were amazing. I loved them. I cannot recommend these wonderful people enough if you hate having your photo taken.

I had the most wonderful time being pampered with hair and make up and then came the shoot. I have never felt more beautiful more sexy or empowered in my life sammy was incredible at making you feel so comfortable and giving great advice during the shoot. And Jane was just so kind and caring thoughtout. I would definitely recommend and will definitely go back for more.

I've never been made to feel so gorgeous and special before. The whole team, Kay, Jane and Sammy made my boudoir shoot an extremely memorable day. Kay did an amazing job with my hair and make up and was on hand at all times during my shoot to ensure I was positioned perfectly with not a hair out of place. Jane had put me at ease before I'd even got there and was a tremendous help choosing my photo's. Sammy takes amazing photo's and makes you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. They are an awesome team who create amazing photographs. This was my second shoot with them and I can't recommend them enough.

I've had the most amazing Monday, I've never felt so happy, loved and beautiful as I have from three special friends. From the first time I met Jane I felt so loved, just like we were old friends from school. Even down to the phone calls, messages and chatting on the phone. This made me feel most relaxed and natural. My boudoir photo shoot started this morning from 8.30am. Kay fussed over my hair and make up, she took great care of me making sure I was totally happy with my style and makeup.
We chatted from start to finish, if you want a cool mate Kay has it all. She came into the photo shoot and helped me with my poses, made sure my hair stayed in place. Just a gorgeous lady. Sammy the.

We had an amazing experience having a boudoir shoot with Sammy Southall. Being our first time doing a shoot we were both a little nervous, my wife Emma more so being the one in front of the camera. Jane Sam and Kay made us both feel so welcome, they were with us every step of the way making sure we were both happy and comfortable. Emma received star treatment with her hair and make up and then photos she had were amazing! Can't wait to see them up in print. Would recommend them to anyone looking to do any shoot especially a boudoir one.

Very warm and friendly welcome from Jane, Sam and Kay and I was well looked after by this terrific trio. Jane makes you feel at home rom the word go and was on hand to help and advise on outfit choices. Sam the photographer was brilliant in directing me with specific poses and angles and very encouraging, easing out some of my inner diva! Kay did an amazing job with my hair and make up and was on hand at all times during my shoot to ensure I was positioned perfectly with not a hair out of place, adjusting my jewellery and outfits and was a huge support to me throughout the day.
