Due to the highly customised nature of my sessions, I take on a very limited number of sessions per month and therefore recommend scheduling your session soon after your 20 week scan to assure availability. At this age most babies fall asleep more easily and will sleep for longer periods of time, making it much easier to achieve those beautiful posed images and curled positions.
Set aside a little time to get a beautiful set of professional photographs to remember your baby during their first year. It's one investment you won't regret and it's one thing you can't delay. Before you know it, they will be heading to school! The Watch Me Grow plan provides the perfect opportunity to professionally record their first year.
Framed wall portraits are a very popular way to present your photographs. They give you an opportunity to further express your style; you can select the frame style, colour and texture, you can also choose the detailing used in the mount to give you a truly individual product. The Canvas Wall Portrait fits really well into a brightly lit room.

Richard photographed both my children with his 'Watch me Grow' package. He's great with the kids, and they're gorgeous photos (we had such a hard time picking our favourites on each occasion!). It's so lovely to have photos of both the children at similar ages in the same style to look at side by side. The three-photo frame at the end is a lovely touch :)

I was approached by Richard at a postnatal pilates class and as I was a vulnerable first time new Mum and an easy target I said yes to his 'watch me grow' deal. I found the sessions to be very awkward, Richard had no rapport with my child and didn't seem to know how to deal with children when they were crying and did nothing to make me feel comfortable when my child wouldn't cooperate.
I was then invited back to view the photos which were shown as a slideshow set to emotional music. Then you are offered an on the day only price to buy more digital copies of photos with no compromise to think about the purchase even though is was a couple of hundred pounds - it was basically buy now or pay an inflated price later, or lose the photos.
It was very difficult to say no. I finally had an appointment to collect my frame but couldn't make it, I let Richard know and asked to rearrange but got no reply for weeks. In the meantime I was no longer able to collect Monday to Friday in the daytime, so asked Richard if I could call in one evening to pick up. He flatly refused even though his studio is at his house and it would of been extremely easy for him to hand over.
I suggested posting, which of course I would pay for but he again flatly refused to help. The photos are good but not amazing and absolutely not worth enduring the awkwardness and terrible customer service. It also doesn't sit right with me that Richard approaches vulnerable new mums at an exercise class. As in write I still don't have the frame and photos that I originally paid for as Richard is still not budging and letting me collect out of hours.
We may have to wait until next year when my husband can take a precious annual leave day to collect, or maybe I'll just cut my losses and waste 40 and never see the photos that I've paid for of my child again! Very unhappy customer all round!

Both my girls have had the 'watch me grow' photoshoots seven years apart from each other and throughout all 6 of our photo shoot sessions and viewings we have had such an amazing experience with Richard. He creates a fun, stress free and relaxed environment for moth parent and baby which makes the experience a lot easier! All the photos we purchased and the frames we received at the end were of the absolute highest quality and it was extremely hard to narrow all the photos down and to not buy them all! We would 100% recommend Richard Roscoe photography and thanks to him we have such wonderful beautiful memories or our babies first years!

We've had various photo shoots with Richard over the last 4 years. Everytime has been a lovely positive experience, especially our shoots traipsing through the mud in Ashridge searching for the perfect spot (and lighting) for a photo!!! Along with Richards help we've created some wonderful memories with gorgeous pictures to treasure forever.

"Richard, I just wanted to let you know how delighted I am with the portrait photos that you took recently of my three children. The fact that you made the children feel so relaxed has meant that their photos look really natural. You have captured their true characters and I am delighted with the results. Many thanks."
