Marcus Maschwitz Photography I am Marcus Maschwitz, I reside in London (United Kingdom) and I work as a freelance professional photographer specializing in music press, live and portraiture photography.

I have been shooting photographs on a professional level since 2002 and I still get excited and inspired by it every day. My images have been used in magazines and publications around the world as well as for band promotional material and CD artwork.

My site focuses purely on the work I do in the music industry and I will be doing my best to keep it up to date with my latest shoots.

I have no philosophy about photography. Like writing or breathing air, I just started doing it. And somehow it all seems to work. I love it and have a passion for everything and everyone that I have the privilege of photographing.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or visit my online photography blog at www.marcusphotoblog.com for my day to day happenings and an update on my current projects.

Skateboarding is responsible for being the biggest influence on photography for me and it presented a lot of opportunities of education, practice, dicipline, focus and creativity that I wouldn't have found elsewhere. I was skateboarding all of the time and photographing it when I had gaps. The start of my photography career was in skateboarding and I was commissioned for a lot of magazine articles, tours, branding campaigns, interviews and look books. These are just a few of my favourite shots that were published over the years.
I am currently living in London (United Kingdom) and I specialise in Music and Band Photography including live music photography, portrait photography as well as album photography that can be used for artwork as well as marketing. I have no philosophy about photography. Like writing or breathing air, I just started doing it.

Large Park with a number of different areas, from woodlands to wetlands and some landscaped areas. Nice cafe in the middle near the Garden Centre

Lovely park with beautiful scenery view even in the cold dry winter. 1.5 hours free parking is an added bonus. We really enjoyed our family walk there.

Great national park! The space is wide, wild, with many hidden corners! I highly recommend to pay a visit to Deen's animal farm - feed some animals and pay a visit to the botanical garden as well. Lovely place to spend a full day in.

What a beautiful place this is! A hidden little treasure. Also a massive thank you to the kind staff (think his name was Gary) for helping to retrieve my little boys shoe that went in the river. So very kind of you & one very happy mummy! We will be revisiting again soon.

I enjoyed this place, fair bit of parking, great open spaces, wonderful second hand book shop with a good selection of books for all ages. Wasn't as enjoyable for the kids as the outdoor play area is a bit rubbish, not really much there except a simple climbing frame and a zip line. But great if you are looking for a place to have a walk. The garden centre is okay as well, not much in there compared to other garden centres but worth a visit if you are local. Could probably spend a couple of hours in the park without getting too bored.

Very nice park. I recommend to avoid Sunday afternoon if you want a calm walk. You can see a lot of nice birds.

This is a National Trust site with free parking for 1.5hrs. What a beautiful park with a lot of things to with Children. Lovely water features of river Wandle. You can visit the Deen's farm to see some cute animals, have a coffee break at the cafe, there's a horse riding school too. Also a garden centre if you fancy picking up some garden plants!

A large park with many leisure options. full and busy. however, being spacious, you can find a place to sit with the family. there is a little lake where I already have children playing in the water, there is a playground and a super nice tree that the children climb. the first 1.5h are free. in short: the park is very good! there is a mini food court where they sell food, ice cream. the car Parking is not that big (proportionate to the size of the park) but I always find a space. a clean park, wide area and very pleasant. beautiful backdrops for photographs
