Photography Made Simple run photography courses at some of the most well-known and beautiful sites in the UK. From castles to follies, from stately homes to Capability Brown Gardens. As ex-teachers with years of experience teaching beginners at Worcester College of Technology, Phil and Rachel Hibberd are used to improving the pictures of absolute beginners. Whether you have the latest DSLR or an ancient compact, your pictures can be improved with our basic principles.Courses run throughout the year, and prices include lunch and entry to the venue. We can also supply gift certificates which enable the lucky recipient to choose the venue they wish to go to.

Safe to say, there is hardly a flower, bee, Koi carp (with ripples on the water!) left un-photographed in my garden today following a half day session with Phil yesterday. Before the tutorial, I could only point and shoot on automatic, now I understand so much about what the camera, and I, can do. Thank you!

Learnt more about my camera in 5 minutes than I had learnt in the last 10 years! A brilliant day at Highley, 40's costume day gave us some great photo ops - shame I formatted my card half way through the day and lost most of them! I have been practising, now I just need two lenses to really get the best out of what I have - it may be an old D50 but it works just fine.

I really enjoyed my day today with Phil at Crystal Palace park. I didn't really know how to use my camera properly but this course has explained enough that now I can practice for great photos.
