Chris Radley Photography Chris Radley is an Edinburgh based photographer specializing in weddings, cars, portraits, food, interiors and cars.

After my photographic education finished I shot a lot of properties but after moving to Edinburgh my wedding career went flying and to date I've photographed around 230 weddings. Because of my training I'm not only able to photograph weddings and properties, I also capture food, cars and more.

My style is informal and candid but I always give people direction but in a friendly and fun way. This completely relaxes the people I work with and the photos turn out infinitely better as a result.

Services
Wedding Photography I love my job! I love meeting new people and feel very lucky to be able to take a major part in their special wedding days.
I have had the pleasure of photographing over one hundred weddings, almost all of which have taken place in Scotland, and every wedding is completely different to the next. Whether it’s a two hour registry office wedding at the beautiful Lothian Chambers or a full day wedding at the amazing Prestonfield House Hotel I love all the weddings I do.
I work in a discreet manner and I work in a fly on the wall manner throughout most of the day. There is always an element of posing at weddings with group and couple shots but I inject a lot of humour to relax couples and thus get much better photos. This combination of semi-formal, fly on the wall and humorous photography provides in my opinion the best and most natural images and allows both the bride and groom, as well as their guests, to enjoy the wonderful day.
Portraits Portrait photography is one of my very favourite types of photography. Whether it be an in studio shoot with multiple lights, backdrops, props and so forth or a location shoot with or without multiple lighting setups there is something to suit everyone.

Photographer and owner
I've worked as a photographer for around 10 years now and I've lived in Edinburgh since 2008. I was born in England but I've lived all around the country and before I became a photographer I worked in telecoms for a number of years.

I've never cared for the 9-5 type of work but through hard work I now work for myself and I love it.

Chris photographed our small wedding and then made himself available a few months later to come and take pictures of our reception. Chris really understood what we wanted from our pictures and made sure we were relaxed and comfortable. He really captured our personalities and we were delighted with the pictures.

We hired Chris on the strength of his portfolio and his ranking on Google. We were not disappointed by any means. He delivered a very timely professional service with a great attitude and sense of humor. The overall quality of service provided did not go amiss. We will recommend Chris to any couples looking for a fair priced, professional service from a very likeable character. He will certainly deliver on your big day. Many thanks Chris.

Couldn't of been happier with Chris' work and attitude. He just 'got' us - the last thing we wanted was super traditional stuffy wedding photos, instead he captured us and our day naturally and beautifully and in our favourite locations around Edinburgh. Couldn't recommend enough!

Chris was our wedding photographer, and we are super-pleased with his work! He was timely and professional throughout, communication before and after the wedding was excellent, and we could not be happier with the tonnes of gorgeous photos we ended up with! Definitely highly recommended! Thank you again!

Chris photographed our very small wedding in September 2016, and we are so happy with the results. He wasn't phased by the fact that our wedding party was only 4 people - in fact it was great fun. The photographs at The Glasshouse hotel beforehand, afterwards at the Lothian Chambers and around St Giles cathedral are super. Chris is easy to get along with, keeps the direction to a minimum to keep things less 'formal', and it worked for us. Thanks Chris!

My now husband and I needed a wedding photographer at short notice, that could provide professional but non formal photos, and Chris really delivered. His images surpassed our expectations and he provided complimentary prints. Many thanks for everything.

We hired Chris and his partner to photograph our wedding in July of this year and what an excellent choice. He made everyone feel at ease and we couldn't have been happier with the photos. The complimentary pocket albums were a wonderful addition and the final album was simply gorgeous.
