Alix provided an excellent photoshoot service to my wife and myself around Rutland Water. Alix's work was not only excellent but she was also very accommodating and understanding since I had to reschedule our appointment due to illness. Her photos are fantastic both edited and unedited. As a lesson learned, make sure you clearly agree beforehand if you would like unedited photos as part of your service just to avoid any confusion. Overall, Alix is great and would recommend.

Alix is an exceptional photographer and incredibly professional yet easy to work with. I loved the mixture of formal and informal photos at our wedding with a great balance between those of the bride and groom and of the guests. She has an uncanny ability to capture the moment and people's expressions. The wedding day was a blur for me (the bride) so to look back over the photos afterwards helped me to remember parts but also see those parts I missed. I would thoroughly recommend Alix 100%

Alix is a very talented photographer and a lovely person. The communication from the start was excellent and we all felt so comfortable as soon as we met her. We have known Alix for over 8 years since she originally photographed our wedding in 2012. Since then Alix has become a close and valued friend who has photographed us and our growing family frequently. Alix approached our wedding with a professional and detailed plan, we discussed situations, settings and group shots. We had a pre-shoot which allowed us to get familiar and at ease with the camera and Alix.

On the day Alix's presence was comfortable and non-invasive, however she managed to capture so many intimate moments. The photo album she produced was stunning and is still one of our most treasured items. It wasn't until we saw our photos after the honeymoon that we saw that Alix had been down the day before and scoped out our venues and had taken scenic shots with no guests. Alix has done many photo shoots for us since our wedding.

She has an ability to capture in a photograph real and natural emotions, even when our little one was less than a year old. All 4 shoots had a friendly informal feel where we just chat and Alix snaps away, producing lovely informal, non-posed photographs. We couldn't recommend Lumiere Photography more, not just for wedding photography, family photoshoots or portraits but for having an individual like Alix in your life.

Alix was amazing right from the go. She photographed our wedding with some beautiful photos that really bring out the natural emotions of the day and help capture the sentiment. She became a great friend of mine and the families thanks to her inclusive and approachable nature, and genuinely brought joy with her to our big day. Highly recommended!

I was introduced to Alix at my sister's wedding. She was their photographer & once I saw the results she was my first choice for my own wedding. She did not disappoint. I can just say that Alix is the best photographer anyone can wish for. She's lovely, sweet, inspirational, funny.and really professional at the same time. She is able to capture emotions that you'll be able to relive every time you look at her pictures. Nothing conformist but UNIQUE. I highly recommend her for any occasion.as a lifetime photography. Alix made the whole family feel at ease. She found out what my eldest likes and brought along relevant toys and played games with him, he really enjoyed himself. The photos are beautiful and very natural.

Birth Photography: I wanted the Birth of my second child captured forever, in a moment frozen in time, that I can look back on time after time. Our baby was born in a pool at home. I thought it would be over whelming with a team of nine including myself and a photographer, but overall it went swimmingly and Alix made herself at home which put me at ease. She is organised, focused and professional and the images are absolutely stunning.

We first met Alix when she photographed a family wedding and I was impressed by her friendly and caring approach as well as the stunning images she captured of a special day. When looking for someone to photograph our newborn she was the obvious choice, I knew we would have a special shoot and I wasn’t disappointed. She took time to get to know us and our baby and made the whole experience something to remember. Editing was very speedy too so we didn’t have to wait too long to see the results. We will treasure the photos, thank you!

We are the family mentioned in the previous comment and we second that assessment :-) Alix took some lovely photos with a minimum of "sit here, look here" direction, and we are very pleased with them indeed. She was very willing to be flexible to choose a time and place which suited us.

Alix has recently done a photoshoot for a friend of ours, which we arranged as a gift. She has been unbelievably kind and considerate of the family's difficult circumstances and has gone out of the way to accommodate them. The photographs are absolutely beautiful and really capture them at their best. We couldn't have been happier.
