UK-Photo offers the services of experienced, image editors and photographers to the public and commercial sector. Our image editing services are relied upon by other photographers in the Greater Manchester area as they rarely have the time or skills to embark upon their own editing workflow. Our photo restoration service is long established, as is our photo colourisation service - samples of which can be found on our website.Digital makeover techniques are very popular whereby any subject can be rejuvenated digitally using image editing software that allows us to remove wrinkles, blemishes, scars, signs of ageing and reshape facial or body shapes in order to create your ideal physique and appearance. The old adage that 'the camera never lies' is no longer valid; the 21st century camera was built for lying and those with the skills and enthusiasm for the field can make the most ordinary looking person into a supermodel (at least in the photograph).
We offer studio sessions, sessions at your own home, location photography. Our range of high quality portable equipment allows us to take professional photographs at our subject's, own home or at a location of their choice.

Services
If you live in the Northwest of England, especially Manchester or Stockport, you can visit our studio at Broadstone Mill. We will take professional passport photos for the price that you'd expect to pay at a kiosk. We are not based in the city centre, but you can find us easily using the maps and images on the 'studio location' page. If you live anywhere else in the world, you can upload your own images to us.

The photographer got the dimensions wrong for a passport photo. He was incredibly rude on return to get a photo taken again, and refused to take another photo even when offered to pay again. A terrible experience. I would strongly recommend using another business. Even a photo booth would be a better experience.

I have been using this service for my passport photos for the last 4-5 years. The quality of the photographs is much better than the photos taken from the photo booth at the post office or other places. Once I was in a hurry and I had to take photos at the post office. I was so disappointed with the way I looked on the photos that I ended up going the same day to Gary at the UK photos.
The prices are very reasonable and the photos are normally ready within 10 min. You can easily spend this time walking around the shopping centre or having a cup of tea/coffee at the local tea shop. I also took family pictures several times at this place. Gary gives you access to hundreds of shoots he makes to chose from. Again, prices are very reasonable and the quality of the printouts is great. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for the great service and for the professional and individual approach to your requests.
