When I left school, I had already decided that photography would be my profession and I attended Napier Uni for 3 years while also photographing weddings under the keen eyes of Tam & Andrew Swanson of Photo Express, in Edinburgh. I owe much to the now-deceased Tam and the retired Andrew who taught me more about wedding photography than I ever learned at Napier. I have now photographed hundreds of weddings from small intimate Bride & Groom with two witnesses to the lavish grand hotels and amazing grounds.
When you book your wedding you pay a 100 non-refundable booking fee at the time of booking, this has not changed. The balance of your wedding package normally becomes payable, 14 days before the date of your wedding and this has not changed. So, you can safely book your wedding photographer without fear of losing your payment. We will observe all current Health & Safety Regulations.
This package is generally chosen by couples who are getting married in a Registry Office or who have a small number of guests and don't want or need photographs taken at the reception. Your photographer will arrive an hour before the time of your wedding ceremony and take photographs of the guests, Groom & Best Man, Bridesmaids, Maid of Honour the Bride arriving etc.

Colin, We cannot thank you enough for our beautiful wedding photos. As you know our original photographer let us down with only 2 weeks to our wedding and we are so grateful that you could help us out. All the photos are of such a high quality and everyone that we have shown them to more than agrees. We are so lucky to have found you and would definitely recommend your services without hesitation.
It was great that you gave us all the wedding photos on disc as all the other photographers that we looked at were giving us only a limited selection to choose from. We must have got about 300 pictures and I have to say it has been very difficult to narrow them down to fit into and album as they are all great shots. We absolutely loved the special feature photos especially the ones with a black and white background and us in colour - very very different!
Also it has been great to make copies of the photos and give them to parents in order to allow them to chose a selection for there own album. We also love the fact that because you gave all the pictures to us on disc we could then pick our own album. To top it all off you even took the time to put together a picture DVD which was also edited with music, that was very fitting to the scenery and special moments throughout the day.
We loved the fact that you captured our first dance, which we were a bit nervous about, and even had the first dance song on the DVD. It was very reassuring to us to have somebody who was so approachable, professional and we felt comfortable contacting you at anytime - within reason. As you know our photographer on the day was Angela Bonnar who was fantastic.
She managed to organise everyone for all the photos with ease, she made us feel relaxed and was in no way intrusive to our special day. It was also nice to have the opportunity to meet Angela at the wedding venue prior to our wedding (which with only 2 weeks was pretty good going). This gave us the opportunity to discuss and discover the best backdrops for the big day and Angela did accommodate our requests. We have memories to treasure forever now as you have captured every moment of our special day, we could not have asked for anymore. Thank you so much.
