I am a professional photographer based in Didsbury, south Manchester. I specialise in portrait photography, from babies, families, weddings to jazz group promotion shots. I have a small studio, which enables me to keep costs to my clients as low as possible. I am prepared to travel for location shoots and weddings about Greater Manchester, south Lancashire, north Cheshire and Stockport.
I also offer a School of Photography. This includes one-to-one and small groups sessions at introductory, intermediate and advances levels.

100 images were selected from the 3284 entries submitted to become part of the 2015 UK touring exhibition. The postwomen has just delivered my Gold Selectors medal for Coalminer Remembers and a commendation for The Blacksmith at the GDPU Digital Exhibition 2014. I was really pleased having had 7 images accepted into the Exhibition out of the 12 entered, including 2 these awards.
In 1977 I took part in a documentary photography project, along with 4 others A to record the people and the changes that where taking place in parts of Salford that covered Ordsall, Langworthy, Regent Road etc. A We held an exhibition of our prints at the theatre on Liverpool Rd. A But afterwards, we all kept our own prints and they were never displayed again or officially archived. A I often wonder what became of the people and children whoaEsA photographs I took in this project in the late 70aEs.
The Curry Mile has national and international fame as a restaurant and leisure hub, but is also home to a great many businesses, shops and community groups as well as being home to residents of diverse ethnic origin. The project aims to capture portraits, stories & social events via mixed media (photography, film, sketches and recordings) throughout 2018.
