This is now the only place I will send my film. Great service and I just recently started using the subscription service for the online albums and its a super convenient way to keep track of my scanned rolls. I highly recommend The Darkroom

This was my first time developing film with them and I can't say I have anything to complain about. Everything went well and the photos turned out nice. I'm waiting on my negatives to get back but I'm sure that will arrive on time too. I'd recommend them as a business to a friend for sure!

Honestly, I could not speak more highly of The Darkroom! I've been interested in film photography for the past year and have sent all of my film to The Darkroom. The speed at which they process film is remarkable, for my last order (3 rolls of film), my film made it all the way across the country, was received, and processed all within 4 days. I appreciate the care that The Darkroom puts into each order.

In addition to returning your negatives nicely packaged with plastic covers, they include the names of the people who quality checked your order, and a pre-paid envelope to send more film in. The Darkroom has enabled me to pursue the art of film photography in a day and age where film is seen as under appreciated and antiquated. I'll never send my film anywhere else!

I sent 9 super old disposable cameras to these guys, 8 of which belonged to my husbands mother who passed away 5 years ago. I knew I couldn't just trust this project with just anyone so after a lot of research I found these guys! Most of the cameras were 12/14 years old! I received never before seen photos of family members that we have lost and put the good ones in a family album.

I knew some wouldn't develop well, but I definitely feel like I trusted the right people! And even though it was during Christmas and the post office took FOREVER to get my cameras to them, they developed them quickly and got them back to me so fast I was able to assemble the scrapbook before Christmas! Thank you guys. my husband was so touched to see his mother and sister again. I can't thank you enough for the speed and the care you took of our memories.

Always had a good experience with The Darkroom. Scans take a little while but they have so many customers I would consider it impressive. Scans are always high quality and perfectly cropped. Prints are also very high quality on name brand print paper. Only issue is how expensive it is, but they always provide a mailer when receiving prints and negatives back for your next send out. Shipping is around $7 so you pay to send them back, but you'll always get negatives back.

Only issue is the "optional CD" is now a paid for item which wasn't previously like this. So they moved the option to the checkout which I did not see, and ended up not getting one twice. Luckily I emailed them and was told about the changes, and was able to get one sent out for my most recent rolls, but never got one for my first time not getting a CD. At the end of the day, it's a very great place to send your film, they are very good at what they do and will always answer your questions quickly.

I've had a couple rolls developed with them now, and they've been very speedy and high quality. Not only that, but a couple of my shots were fogged due to a processor error and as a result I was given a refund and a coupon for two more rolls of film! Incredible customer service, you can tell they really care about their customers. I will most definitely be sticking with The Darkroom in the future.

I found a trove of old undeveloped film from my childhood. The "develop by" date stamped on one of the Kodak disposable cameras was 02/1997. I had no idea what pictures were within. I sent only one Kodak disposable camera as a test. Success! The Darkroom was able to develop the film that was nearly 25 years old! I thought they turned out great. The aged film looks beautiful in my opinion.

I've been slowly sending more in as I can afford it. It's been an absolute blast seeing undeveloped pictures from decades ago. Vacations, scout pictures and more to come! It's pricy and I'm sure there are more affordable options, but I'm sticking with The Darkroom until the rest of my surprise time capsule is developed.

I'm from Puerto Rico and whenever I have to develop a roll of film and want some prints made I send them to The DarkRoom. I had one roll developed in Walgreens so I wouldn't have to ship them to the U.S. and it made me realize how good The DarkRoom is. The quality, attention and options are like no other. Once, one of my rolls turned out blank and they let me develop another roll with no extra cost.

I recommend it %100! I've attached some of the pictures they've developed for me. The first six pictures were developed this week, shot with a Canon (35mm film), and the following two with a Yashica (24mm film) in 2020. The last three were shot with the same Canon as the first ones, but developed in Walgreens so you can see the difference yourself.
