We booked Steve for our wedding before we'd even confirmed a venue. His work is so amazing that we knew we wanted him as our photographer as a priority. He is so friendly, and was very helpful before and during the day, helping us with an itinerary and helping everything to run smoothly on the day. He is also really relaxed and lets shots happen organically.
He captures unique moments and you often don't notice him doing it! He showed us photos he'd taken on the day but also sent out a sneak peak gallery only two days after our wedding (on a bank holiday Monday!) which was really appreciated, and had our entire gallery ready within two weeks. We cannot recommend Steve highly enough, he is lovely, incredibly talented and has given us photos that enable us to relive our wedding day and that we will treasure forever. We had many wonderful suppliers involved in our wedding but if we had to pick only one to have again it'd be Steve.

When we started planning our wedding there was no doubt in our mind who we would be using for our photographer. Steve was the photographer for our friends weddings and he really impressed us with his ability to capture natural moments of the day. Nothing was staged. Also he's a really nice guy! Due to the pandemic we had to rearrange our wedding 4 times.
Each time Steve was so understanding and helpful. He was always happy to give advice and lend his expertise. Then we come to the day itself. It was everything we wanted and more. Steve was a photographer and wedding coordinator all rolled into one! He made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were protected from all the stresses behind the scenes. Well where do we start. From the moment Steve turned up on our wedding day, he was an extra guest. No end of people approached me and commented on how nice he was. Really relaxed approach to photography. We had our group shots and then everything after was just natural. He photographed the entire day beautifully from my wife getting ready up until the party late into the night and didn't miss a thing inbetween ( even caught the best man catching a sweet in his mouth.
Talk about timing!). We went for photos at llangenith beach, and to say that the photos are spectacular is an understatement. I would thoroughly recommend Steve to anyone who wants to have fun with the photos, maybe capture something a bit different and have more than just the posed photos! Thank you Steve!

Me and my husband feel so lucky that we had Steve capture our special day. When we saw our photos the first thing we said was how he captured our day so perfectly. We were supposed to be married in 2020 but due to the pandemic this had to change, Steve was so understanding and flexible with the date changes that we had to go through. During our wedding day Steve was like a ninja and captured moments we thought would only be a memory and honestly throughout the day we barley knew he was there, he blended in so well.
Our photos are better than we imagined and we have had so many wondeful comments from guests and family about how friendly and professional Steve was on our day. We cannot recommend him enough. Love Craig and Samantha x

What can i say, from first contacting Steve via email he was amazing, listened to everything me and my wife had to say, messaging up to the wedding and is still in contact after. He did everything to reassure us that our day would be amazing, and boy was it. He turned up on time with a huge smile and a professional but friendly attitude. From the second he started working he made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed.
He was organised and so comforting, cracking jokes and making sure everything was perfect. From our first meeting with Steve we knew that he was the photographer for us. From browsing through his vast portfolio, to chatting with him about his unique style of capturing the day, it all seemed exactly what we wanted, and on top of this he is a really nice guy. Nothing was too much bother for Steve. He met us at the venue a few weeks before the big day, so we could discuss ideas.
He is brimming with unique photo opportunities that your average photographer wouldn't even dream of, but also listened to what we wanted and took on board some of our crazy ideas too. He worked tirelessly throughout the whole day and was their until late into the night, capturing the party atmosphere perfectly. Looking back through the photos, I don't think there is a moment that he missed, and our whole day has been captured perfectly.
The presentation of the photo album is second to none, and an excellent touch. To say we were impressed with the service Steve provided would be an understatement. Cannot recommend Steve enough! He is not only an amazing photographer but really went the extra mile to make sure we had the day we wanted. Our initial zoom meeting was great as we got to know each other and he could sense exactly what kind of photos we wanted on the day. When our first venue cancelled Steve was on hand to help us find another venue which was available, something he didn't need to do but it helped us a lot!
Following this, when we decided to have a small wedding sooner instead of what we had originally planned Steve offered straight away to come and photograph for us at the church. On the day Steve was brilliant, he was always around when there was a good shot to be taken but blended into the background so we almost didn't know he was there. Steve was incredible on our wedding day - a brilliant feat considering we were in Lockdown. We had a venue change and a date change and Steve took it in his stride so that we were never worried about photos. Even with just six of us there, he still managed make our day feel really special, there are some amazing pictures, including the best photo of my parents that I've ever seen and was an absolute pleasure throughout. Highly highly highly recommend him.

Steve was the most incredible wedding photographer! He took the most wonderful photos and we could not have asked for anything better. Steve was so friendly and slotted right into our day. The photos came out better than we could ever imagine and we would highly highly recommend him. We will cherish the photos for our lifetime. Steve was fantastic. from the first meeting you could tell how professional he was and come the wedding day we couldn't be happier. He managed to get some amazing pictures even on a day with awful weather. His approach to taking our wedding photos put us both at ease. He was friendly and fun but never let his professionalism drop. we received highlights of our wedding within a matter of days ad our full gallery with not long after. Considering Steve went on holiday ( which he told us about ) we were amazed to receive them so soon after the wedding.

I would highly recommend choosing Art by Design. We were so pleased with our wedding photos! Steve is very friendly and we felt very relaxed when he was taking our photos which I think was so important for us on our wedding day. He is very flexible and listened to our preferences, not only for what photos we wanted but also for when we wanted photos taken, in the church for example and at the reception.
We were really happy with the final result. The online access is also really great. It allowed us to choose the photos we wanted in our own time as well as allowing family to see the photos who live far away. Overall definitely 5 stars!
