FJ Photography

I was born in England and moved to Australia in 1988. Majoring in Photography, I have completed a B.A in Fine Arts starting out at Charles Sturt University NSW Australia and then completing at the College of Fine Arts in Paddington Sydney. I have also had many opportunities to further my photographic skills working with companies that specialise in portrait photography right through to labs that print photos. As a result I have had experience in all aspects of image making, from concept right through to printing.

I am a people photographer specialising in events of all kinds. Having watched photographers when I was younger I aspired to be different and I can truly say I pride myself on making everyone feel comfortable in my presence, enabling me to photograph people simply being themselves. Even when giving direction and setting up photos I am only laying down a pretence to which I know the subject, be a bride or groom or a family, even a baby, will turn it into their own.

My portfolio of work originates in Australia, however now living in the UK I am hoping to gain some experience and wisdom working and photographing people and events here. On this website you will be able to see a portfolio of images and learn a little more about me and my style of work.
