Our introduction to photography courses will provide you with the skills and knowledge to take quality photographs for many years to come, this covers all aspects of photography, including composition, creative use of shutter speeds and aperture, direction and quality of light, photographic filters, histograms (digital users), camera controls, accurate exposure readings and, most importantly, how to develop your photographer’s eye to improve your photography no end.In the Corfe castle workshop we will discover how to photograph Corfe Castle, which is around 1,000 years old, having been built by William the Conqueror. During the civil war the parliamentarians captured and demolished the castle and in doing so created a romantic ruin which gives you great photo opportunities from every angle, either in the morning or in the mist in winter

Peter's childhood was in the Northumberland in the north east of England, a county which is very rural and he learnt at very early age to love the country side, the superb coastline, this was the beginning of his love of landscape and seascape scenery photography, he has always had a film camera from his early teens and made the move to digital DSLR cameras in 2004.
Peter now offers photography training in Dorset, Devon, Dartmoor and Cornwall, he also runs photography tours for various locations
