Derya Vicars Photgraphy

I would highly recommend Derya. We booked her for a family shoot with 4 children two of them only being 9 months and 2 years at the time. She was so patient and engaging with the children. The youngest children soon started to get restless and I was wondering how we would get many decent shoots. When we collected the pictures I was amazed the amount of beautiful pictures Derya had captured to the point we ended up buying some more as we found it hard to choose between them. We will definitely return to Derya in the future for more family pictures.

I loved the style of Derya's newborn baby photographs, I kept going back to look at them whilst deciding. We had a few delays due to covid but Derya went out of her way and even worked the bank holiday so that we could have our family photos done too. Which was amazing as I thought we weren't going to get them. When we met her she was so welcoming and friendly.

We had a chat while we got settled and she was so patient with our 5 year old and when the baby needed feeding numerous times there was no issue or pressure to hurry up. She even played with our little boy while she waited. She cuddled our baby and took her time to get him to sleep and in between poses when he kept waking up she stopped and did the process again.

I didn't actually think at 4 weeks old we would ever get the beautiful sleepy poses but she was amazing and the photographs are just gorgeous. Loved that we got to go back and view the photos and even then she was very patient while we were selecting. We ordered framed photographs and the quality is fantastic. Such a lovely studio with a lovely atmosphere.

We had a lovely experience with Derya. The studio is presented beautifully, modern with suitable facilities for taking littles ones along. We were made to feel so welcome by Derya as it can sometimes feel daunting taking a little one to get photographs taken, we were given lots of time and attention (Derya was getting smiles from my little one by waving an igglepiggle toy from behind the camera!) The photographs we received are perfect and will be cherished forever, thank you so very much.

This was an fab Photoshoot. Our baby was so relaxed and enjoyed the afternoon. I would give it 5 stars but having to buy wall art to get any prints, it did end up being rather pricey, despite already buying the gold package. The quality of the prints are amazing though. It would have been nice to have a couple more different outfits also as my daughter has had a similar shoot elsewhere and I loved the variety of cute outfits and poses.

If this was my first ever baby Photoshoot and I had nothing to compare it to, it would have been a more raving review as Derya is so professional and amazing at what she does and the images are of a high quality compared to others.

We booked a package for newborn baby and our 4 year old son. He was very shy and reserved but She was fabulous with him and was so patient. In the end we got a fantastic photo of him and his little sister. The pictures are just perfect. The setting and surroundings are clean spacious and inviting. The quality of the work was well worth the time and effort. We will be returning for Xmas phot shoots and many others.

A lovely, relaxing and fun experience with Derya for our daughter's 1st Birthday Cake smash photoshoot. I had been told by a few friends that photoshoots could be like a conveyor belt of parents and babies so I was looking for an experience that didn't involve us rushing around changing outfits, nappies, cleaning our daughter etc. Derya provided a relaxing time, was really calm and professional.

The background balloons and the cake were of excellent quality. The balloons are still inflated as I write this one month later so we've used them for many photo ops since! Most importantly, the pictures were outstanding! We will cherish them forever and look forward to returning to Derya for any other occasion. Don't hesitate to book, the whole experience cannot be faulted.

My husband, my baby boy and I had a Christmas mini shoot with Derya. It was mainly for Benjamin but it was nice that Derya made the time for a family shot and made us feel relaxed and welcome. The studio is gorgeous and the props and set up for the shoot were fabulous. We love the pictures and used them for Christmas cards. All our family and friends thought they were beautiful and we agree. We would recommend her!

Our Christmas photo shoot was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. It's was easy to book online and Derya got in touch to explain what would happen on the day of the shoot. The studio is lovely and my daughters had a fantastic time posing with the Xmas props. Derya was so patient with them and definitely captured my beautiful little girls perfectly.

The print was ready to collect in a couple of weeks and the digital photos were sent across within days. Communication with Derya was quick and easy and the quality of the photos and the print was amazing. I was so pleased with the photos, you forget just how good professional photos are because we take so many on our mobile phones these days! We will definitely be returning. Thank you Derya x

Derya is amazing - we visited her studio recently to get some Christmas photos combined with a family photoshoot with our little one. The whole experience was brilliant, the studio is a home from home, very relaxed, not rushed at all from start to finish. The photos are gorgeous, so professional, capturing the moment perfectly - all thanks to Derya. We got 2 frames which are now pride of place, plus a bag full of goodies, prints and USB. Cannot recommend Derya enough, thank you so much, we'll see you next time!

We felt at ease from the moment we walked into the studio. Derya wasn’t phased by our crazy 2.5 year old running around and was able to engage him and make it fun for him! Me and my fiance took our 1 year old, Cole, for a cake smash session today and it was amazing. Derya was super professional, start to finish. She was incredible with Cole, knew how to make him laugh. The photos were absolutely stunning, even before being edited. Couldn't say thank you enough

Derya has always captured amazing photographs of my family and I. We've had bump to baby sessions, a 6 month (with brother) session and a 1 year birthday cake smash! We love her work, and she is incredibly patient and passionate about what she does. Always improving every time I see her work. Fully recommend!

Amazing newborn photo session. Derya is very talented and has a lovely way with babies. Our baby girl was in such caring hands and Derya captured her perfectly. We have memories to look back on forever thanks to Derya. We would highly recommend her and will certainly be back soon.

Had a pregnancy photoshoot and what an amazing experience it was! I don't feel my best whilst pregnant and it's not something I would usually do but Derya made me totally at ease, had me laughing & enjoying the camera and I thoroughly loved the whole experience. The pictures were so so beautiful and it's now something I have to treasure that I won't get the chance to do again. Derya was lovely and put us all at ease. She was great with max at his newborn shoot and again at his cake smash for his first birthday. We also had some family photos and some gorgeous photos of our daughter. Brilliant service and not over priced. Recommended.

I can't rate Derya highly enough I was lucky enough to meet her through our children's nursery and from there she has gone on to photographing my 2 daughters and provided outstanding images.
Derya also agreed to be our photographer at our girls christening and then also went on to be our photographer at our wedding. She is very talented and amazing with children very friendly patient and loving person. We as a family can't thank her enough for helping to capture perfect memories.

Derya has taken promotional photographs for me at Moo Music on a few occasions – her work is just beautiful and some much time and care goes into the editing but she is also able to get natural, unobtrusive photos which really capture moments.
