Jonathon and Claire were absolutely wonderful on our wedding day and I couldn't recomend them highly enough. They were both so professional, accomodating and approachable. Their corrospondance before the wedding was also fantastic, getting back to me about all my questions and making sure they knew everything they needed to know before the big day. We really enjoyed our photo shoot with Jonathon! We had to cancel our original wedding plans due to Covid, but Jonathon immediately offered to reschedule our shoot and was able to fit us in at very short notice. We recently had a wedding in Fife and rather last minute decided we would like a videographer. We met Jonathon and from the first call we knew he was incredibly professional but also really flexible to our unusual requests. He made the actual wedding day easy and breezy, but then we were amazed at the quality and skill in the video he produced. We have no idea how he got so many natural, loving moments without us noticing he was there!

Thanks to Jonathon we now have a wonderful record of our amazing family. The photo shoot was a special Christmas gift we will treasure for years to come. Nothing was too much bother as we had pictures taken in various locations on the farm, capturing family groups and cheeky smiles of the grand children playing. We couldn't be happier with our photographs and video of our wedding by Love Wedding Photos and Film. We found them on Instagram and instantly fell in love with their work. We had the best experience with Jonathon and his crew. We communicated from the US through email only, and never once was I stressed or worried about anything. Our pictures and video were perfect. Jonathon photographed our wedding at the Lothian Chambers, Edinburgh, in May. We contacted Jonathon several months before our wedding, he responded very quickly and our first impression was that he was very friendly and professional. We were both very impressed by his photos on his website and were both keen to have him as our photographer. On the big day, he turned up to the chambers to meet and greet us, and wasted no time to get started taking photos of everyone there.

He has taken many photos at the chambers before so not only did he know where the best shots were, but he also helped us in terms of what to do and expect on the day. He did well to settle a few nerves too! Following the chambers, we headed up to Calton Hill to get more photos. These turned out to be incredible shots that we fell in love with instantly.

With his vast knowledge and passion for photography, he wasted no time in getting as many shots in many different locations. This was particularly important as we only had booked a short time with him. I would 100% recommend Jonathon to anyone, especially if you are getting married in Edinburgh. Our family and friends were all very impressed by the final photos and have all commented to us that Jonathon was a joy to work with on the day.

On my big day the weather was rubbish and it rained all day which meant changing some of our plans but Jonathon was brilliant at adapting and coming up with new ideas.

Jonathon was great and happy to help when a lot of photographers were unable to meet our request. My husband and I loved Jonathon from the moment we met him. We called and left a message as it was a Sunday afternoon and he very quickly called us back which was totally unexpected. He came to our home a few days later with his sample albums which we loved, lots of beautiful pictures and a selection of different options which was fantastic. Jonathon spent a great deal of time with us on the first meeting, we didn't feel that he was looking at his watch to make a dash!

He talked us through everything we wanted to know (I had a list of questions to ask which I'd spotted in a wedding mag) and gave us great advice.

Jonathon sent us a contract to look over which set out everything we needed to know. We booked him immediately and paid our deposit, settling the final balance a few weeks before our wedding. If we ever had any question to ask Jonathon always replied very quickly which is excellent as weddings get a bit stressful at times.

We had access to our wedding album online whilst we were still on honeymoon (and we went straight away), no waiting around for months on end like we know some people have done. The photos are absolutely gorgeous, the colours are so vibrant and every picture is sharp, capturing our special day. We went for a digital package as we like to display our photos in our home but I can say that the albums Jonathon produces are absolutely beautiful.

He has also put us in touch with a company that do some fabulous printing options so we just need to pick our favourites now which is going to be hard!! We have just got our disc and it is beautifully presented (I thought it would be a plain CD case but its not!!). We will be booking Jonathon later this year for my PhD graduation and if/when we have little ones. Jonathon is an absolutely lovely man to work with, very professional and we would have no hesitation in recommending him.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Jon as a very good friend, so when we got engaged, there was no question as to who we would use as our photographer. Although a friend, he was still extremely professional with us from start to finish - discussing our options with packages, albums, group photos etc. On the day itself, Jon turned up well dressed in plenty of time and was very good at putting people at ease, melting into the background and capturing some truly stunning shots.

A lot of the photos were captured without people being aware - these are fantastically natural and a great memento of the day. Although I know very little about cameras, I know that his have produced shots of the highest quality and he has a very good eye as to what will make a good shot. We now have a beautiful Italian cream leather bound album with thick metallic pages filled with fantastic photos as a result. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends, family or anyone as we are extremely happy with the service and the results of his hard work.

Jonathon came and took wonderful photographs for 2 "special" birthday parties for my family in the New Club in Edinburgh. I was worried that a photographer would "take over" the event and make us all feel self conscious but I need not have worried. Jonathon was so kind and nice to everyone and put us all at our ease. We hardly noticed he was there and the more formal shots were actually fun.

This resulted in the best family photos we have with our happiness on the evenings very well captured. Just brilliant memories now captured for ever. I could not recommend Jonathon highly enough.

We commissioned Jonathon Fowler for my Mothers 70th birthday in Edinburgh. Photographs were taken over 2 nights, one night at the Royal Yacht Britannia, the following night at The Balmoral Hotel. I would highly recommend using Jonathon Fowler if you are looking for a high quality wedding photographer. I first used Jonathon to video my brothers 21st which we were very pleased with the outcome. We therefore felt we could trust Jonathon to do a great job with our wedding photos and he did! He gives clear direction whilst taking the photos and has a great manner about him.

We didn’t even notice him taking many of the other natural shots and were delighted with them all. The difficult part is choosing your favourites out of the hundreds of photos! There is lots of opportunity to customise your album to exactly what you like and we are absolutely delighted with the final album!
