A low-key approach is the basis of my natural documentary wedding photography style. Some call it wedding photojournalism. This means I’ll be there to catch the best of all the moments you’re enjoying and many you won’t have seen. I’ll blend in with the party looking for genuine, natural images full of emotion, fun and humour. Each wedding is unique, as is the way you interact as a couple, and that’s what I’m looking to capture. If you’re feeling (or looking!) awkward while we’re taking a few minutes out to capture just the two of you together, that’s when I’ll step in with some direction. Ultimately, my style is as an observer over a director, keeping your wedding photography natural, capturing you at your best.
Other than ten minutes or so capturing you as a couple and a few group shots after the ceremony, the day is yours with no distractions from me. I leave you to enjoy the company of your guests on your wedding day while I duck and dive unobtrusively, creatively capturing the interactions between you all.

Report
For baby and children’s photography shoots I like to capture creative, natural documentary images. I like to take pictures that tell a story and show the aspects of a child’s personality. Much depends on the mood on the day, the weather, the light. No two shoots are the same, because no two children are the same. I don’t work from a studio set. For me it’s personal! It’s all about those moments on that day in your lives. And the ability to relive them again and again through the magic that is photography. I come to your home, holiday home or favourite place for the session. I’m keen to capture the kind of photographs my father took of my sisters and I as children. In our favourite places. Doing our favourite things. Doing the mundane, like being spoonfed in the high chair. Sometimes in glorious happy technicolour. Sometimes in tears. My dad’s photographs of us as children have been my inspiration for this side of my work. Thanks Dad.

We've used Suzanne's photography services three times now, firstly for our wedding and then two family shoots when both of our children were 10 months old. We couldn't be happier with the results - Suzanne's talent and calm, unobtrusive approach produces the most beautiful imagery; always very natural with some lovely, tasteful creative touches. Suzanne's comes highly recommended by us!

We spent months looking for photographers before Suzanne was recommended to us. We were delighted as we couldn't have found a nicer or more talented person to capture the day. We were looking for an informal, documentary style photographer and that's exactly what we got - we loved all of the pictures, many of which we had no idea Suzanne was taking at the time.
It was also such a joy to work with Suzanne and she was so accommodating from start to finish. We particularly loved reading her blog and seeing some pictures of our wedding while still on honeymoon. Would highly recommend!

Suzanne is a fantastic photographer! She photographed our wedding at St John's College Cambridge in September and we couldn't have been happier with her photographs. She has bags of energy and entihusatum and ran around our wedding party in such an amazing way. She stayed all day and most of the evening and really did capture the best of our day. She took all the photos we requested and many more.
We have lots of special moments to treasure thanks to Suzanne and we are very grateful. Her prices are certainly reasonable and her after wedding service was brilliant. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting family photos of all kinds.

What can I say? Suzanne’s charisma, authentic postivity and calm oozed through the whole documentary style pictures of our wedding. I could never ask for any better. We really had no idea she was capturing all these beautiful photos of us and our guests! Do yourself a favour and book her for your wedding, or any special momentous occasion actually.

Suzanne works magic - she has the most amazing eye for natural detail and the skill to capture the most beautiful moments. I hate having my photo taken and am far from photogenic! I was really worried about finding the right person to capture our wedding day. From the start Suzanne put me at ease, we had a few meetings and she really listened to what was important to us.
