Five stars isn't high enough. When we first saw David's photos we knew he was the perfect photographer for our day and we were not wrong. From the first time we spoke, to the moment he said goodbye at the end of our wedding day, he was everything we had hoped for. He understood our camera-shyness and made us feel comfortable, he was subtle and unobtrusive, and always had a knack for finding the perfect photo.

When we saw the Instagram previews a few days after our wedding, we were blown away - but then when he sent us the full album of his work from the day we were totally speechless. He captured all the wonderful, timeless moments perfectly and we could not be happier. Most days we scroll through the photos just for the sheer joy of it. Thank you David!

David is without doubt a superb professional. When our daughter set her wedding date, David just had to be the photographer. Having worked with him a few years ago and therefore appreciating the quality of his images, the decision was a 'no brainer!' In a crowded market David stands out. He knows what he's doing, he spots opportunities and small details which others might miss.

His style is reportage so observation is his forte. On top of his talents, David is just a lovely person who moves around unobtrusively. He brings a wealth of experience. Our daughter's wedding day was full of joy and laughter, which David captured so masterfully in the photographs. Seeing them for the first time a few weeks later conjured the day up all over again. I don't think you can ask for more.

We are very happy we chose David to capture our wedding in Richmond Park! He was brilliant on the day and got on really well with our guests. The photographs are incredible. He has captured us, our families and friends in a very flattering but natural way, with brilliant lighting and lots of personality shining through. We highly recommend.

David was recommended to us for his style of photography in capturing the 'little moments' that happen throughout a wedding and we are both very grateful that he came all the way over to Bristol (in the rain!) for our celebration. The pictures of the formal parts of the occasion are fantastic, and David did a wonderful job of capturing the fun and emotion of the day and evening - from natural shots of all of guests to the unique aspects of our amazing venue, as well as the detail of the decoration and food and that might have easily been missed. We are so pleased with the gorgeous pictures David took of our wedding. The lighting on them is beautiful and there is a great mix of couple portraits, documentary style and family shots. His communication throughout the rather long 2 years period before our postponed wedding finally came around was always great. David really took on board all our photo requests, including trekking out to a field to capture golden hour, where we got some lovely shots.

He was also completely unobtrusive throughout the day capturing lots of special moments we didn't even realise he was photographing! He also suggested a special photography project when he found out my Mum was making my wedding dress so it has been such a pleasure to work with him on this to document the making process. We would highly recommend David for anyone looking for natural and beautiful photography.

David is brilliant to have with you on your wedding day because he really blends in with your guests and he is really a personable and likeable guy which means his photos are better because people are relaxed around him! I cannot recommend Married to my Camera highly enough. The wedding took place very fast and under difficult personal circumstances, but David was absolutely amazing in getting everything sorted, as well as being accommodating and generous when discussing price (He even offered to donate part of his fee to a charity of our choice!) Incredible communication came in the form of several calls and a video chat to confirm our preferences for the day. David was at the venue early and was so clear and efficient. Most importantly though, the photos are FANTASTIC. We got over 200 and love all of them. Please Please Please use him for your wedding, you won't regret it!

I can't recommend David enough - we had booked him for what was meant to be our ceremony in June - which was obviously a casualty to the COVID19 lockdown (!) - and so instead we decided to go ahead with a small registry office wedding with just our two sets of parents. David's style was exactly what we wanted, and the pictures were simply amazing - even though we had only 4 guests, the photos really captured the magic of the day - from small details like my bouquet and now-husbands bow tie, to fantastic pictures within the grounds of the registry office with our family, and some very 'point-in-time' memories of guests with face masks, and taking our vows with the perspex screen between us and the registrar! The pictures were beautiful, and we can't wait for David to snap our 'big day' in March 2021!

David is a brilliant photographer and we were so pleased with the photos he took of our wedding. We loved his natural, documentary style of photography, and he has given us a set of photos which really showcase the joy and happiness of our day. We only had a short amount of time to plan our wedding, but David was really flexible - meeting us both for an introductory chat and also a visit to our venue in advance. Where do we start? David was incredible. From the moment I met David a few months before our wedding, I knew instantly that we had made the right choice. On the day of our wedding, David went above & beyond to capture perfect moments of myself & my bridesmaids getting ready at the venue and then headed to the hotel where my husband and his groomsmen were and then back once again to capture some amazing final shots of me in my dress and the final touches!

Throughout the whole day, David was professional and had a wonderful sense of humour. He captured amazing moments that we will treasure forever. Whilst the large majority of our photos are candid and of a documentary style, David was also very happy to do some portraits too which are equally as gorgeous! We barely noticed David was there yet the photos he captured are just perfect.

So many of our guests have commented on how wonderful his pictures are and can't believe how discreet he was on the day! Our photos were available on our online gallery whilst we were on our honeymoon so it is clear that David works incredibly hard for his clients after the wedding too! We cannot wait to now receive our prints & album from David! If you are looking for photos of your wedding day that tell your story, then look no further.

I would highly recommend David. He took some beautiful photos and his prices were very very good. He is a really nice down to earth chap and at times we hardly even knew he was there! He took some very natural photos which were my favourites as I always prefer the ones you don't know about rather than ones you know you are posing for. Some were very amusing too and our guests loved them!

We can't recommend David highly enough. He is an extremely talented photographer as well as being a lovely person to work with and to have around on the wedding day itself. We had seen David's work on other weddings so knew he would be great, but the experience of viewing our own photos was even more wonderful than we thought it would be. He knows how to create an elegant narrative of the day that works in all the moving, funny and unexpected moments.

He is a genius for capturing people but is also very skilled at capturing the feel and style of venues and of all the little details (flowers, place-settings etc) that you put so much thought into in the run up to the day. We love, love, love our photos from the ones getting ready in the early afternoon to the final dances. I would strongly recommend hiring David for the whole day - you won't regret it. The only problem he's given us is choosing which photos to frame!

David is a gifted photographer. His work conveys a deep understanding of the principles of documentary photography. He is able to convey his photography skills through his wedding work with apparent ease. These aren't simply wedding snaps. Engaging compositions, timing, humorous observations and technical prowess are all there in his pictures. There are so many so called 'photographers' shooting weddings who lack creativity and expertise - these individuals should check out David's work and start practising. David avoids gimmick and has a knowledge and appreciation of art that enhances his work with subtle grace.

I met David for Victoria and Chris's wedding at Tithe Barn, and from the start he came across as a very friendly and professional chap! He was very easy to work with, and took some amazing images of the whole wedding day, capturing the happy and fun atmosphere of this fabulous wedding.

Great guy, amazing photographer! Thank you David for capturing our special day in the best way we could’ve ever imagined! Before we get to the wedding day itself, had we not stumbled across David’s previous work on Pinterest, then we may not have known of and ended up marrying in the location that we did, the beautiful Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy.

So we’d like to thank him for that before anything else!

Having spoken with David over Skype before departing for Italy, and having met him in Malcesine a couple of days before the wedding, it was clear to us that his plan to make the whole process as memorable and comfortable as possible was just as important as taking the best possible photos. Based on how we felt on the day and having now seen the photos - he managed both of those things perfectly!

Aside from the photos that obviously required some kind of direction, which we absolute love, all of the others appear to have captured a moment at its very best. What’s more, is that not once can we recall any of those photos being taken at the time, and friends and family have said the same! We really couldn’t be any happier with the photos!
