Held in my warm Cambuslang studio, each session features unique props, blankets, and clothing from various cultures, making every photograph special. Combining charming portrait shots with the pure joy of a cake smash, this experience lets your baby explore and enjoy their very own custom-designed cake. Sessions are held in my welcoming Glasgow studio, beginning with a mini portrait session to capture those sweet moments before the cake fun starts. After the smashing, we finish with a bubbly bath cleanup, giving you even more heartwarming photos. Cakes are crafted by an award-winning designer, and we offer themed outfits and props to make each session a unique celebration. Book early to capture these treasured first birthday memories!

I booked for a newborn photon session for my little girl, she was 10 weeks premature, and by the time she got home from hospital she was 10 weeks old. Louise spent time to explain which poses Blair could be put into due to being older than two weeks old as she was less flexible than a newborn. She was patient and so good with the baby; and got some beautiful photos.
It was lovely to sit back and watch her work, not phased by our vomity baby. The photos are beautiful and we had so many different set ups. It made choosing ones to frame very difficult! The turn around on which we received the previews and the final prints was very quick. We're definitely going to rebook for Blair's first birthday - many thanks. We've since had our youngest daughter in for a newborn shoot and are very happy with the results. She even got us some shots of both our toddler and the baby, even though our toddler was being uncooperative. We. Wouldn't book with anyone else. Thanks again Louise.

2024 update - we did come back for my daughter's first birthday and this photoshoot was so fun for her and us. Beautiful photos to keep forever! Louise was absolutely fantastic with my little girl (who was only 5 pounds at the time of the photoshoot) and with myself and my partner (we aren't used to getting photos taken and she put us right at ease). The pictures turned out amazing and I'm so happy we picked Louise to help capture this very special time We'll definitely be back for my girls 1st birthday photos!

We couldn't recommend Louise highly enough! Louise has photographed both of our children at newborn stage, this time also dealing with a stubborn 4 year old who wasn't the best at following instructions by making him laugh and involving him in the process- he keeps asking if we are going back! She was so patient and professional, making us all feel relaxed and comfortable. Louise's home studio is lovely, with a range of different colour options available for photographs.
We didn't hesitate on returning to Louise when our wee family of three grew to a family of four and we are absolutely delighted with the final images. The most difficult part was choosing which photographs we wanted to go with! Thank you Louise for capturing such an important time for our family

My sister bought the cake and splash package for my little boys first birthday & right from the minute you arrive Louise makes you feel very welcome & she was brilliant with Roman even when he wouldn't play ball. So many different props and outfits and the cake was lovely and well presented. Pictures turned out absolutely amazing & I'll definitely be using in future for anymore photoshoots.

Louise was wonderful with our newborn son. She is patient, warm, caring and handled my boy with such love and care. Her sessions are babyled and if baby isn't happy or comfortable with a pose then she won't force it. The final pictures are outstanding. Looking forward to the next time! Thanks again!

Would recommend Louise over and over again for newborn photography! We have had both our girls photoshoots done at her studio. Louise makes you feel so at ease from the moment you walk in. Her cosy studio is filled with the most adorable props you will be spoiled for choice. The shoot is completely baby led, and Louise knows all the tricks to help baby settle, given mum and dad a few hours to sit back and relax (well needed in those early days). We were totally in love with the photos we received from both girls shoots. It's such a lovely memory to have and look back on. Thanks again Louise x

We took our 1 week old to Louise for a photo shoot and couldn't be happier with the results. The photos are very natural looking and are extremely high quality. Louise was a natural with our baby and made him really comfortable. The room was nice and warm for him and there was a comfortable area for my wife and I too! We weren't pressured with a time to finish the shoot, so it made everything stress free and gave us time to change and feed him when needed. I would highly recommend Louise for you newborn photos. We are planning to go back again for a cake smash shoot when he is 1 year old!

Louise took newborn photos of my daughter and also some with my older daughter. They were absolutely amazing and Louise was great with both of my children while taking the photos. She really put everyone at ease and was very patient even when our new baby was not cooperating for some of the poses! The finished photos were absolutely gorgeous and the package we chose meant they were presented to us in a beautiful box. Louise also went above and beyond and brought them to us as my daughter had been unwell.
I would highly recommend Louise to anyone considering getting newborn photos taken (as well as sibling photos) and will definitely use Louise again in the future for more pictures of my girls. Thanks Louise!x

I have had a couple of sessions with Louise this year and have been absolutely delighted with my photos. I chose to have a maternity session to have lovely memories of my first pregnancy and I also booked a newborn session for my baby. The maternity photos were just beautiful and my husband and I really enjoyed the session in the studio. It was relaxed and informal but always professional and we had so much fun creating our photos.
We didn't manage the newborn photos as our baby girl was born during lockdown but we managed to get photos with Louise when our daughter was around 4 months old. Louise was fantastic again and was so relaxed, friendly and flexible when working with our daughter to get beautiful photos whilst working at her pace (including working around a nap time!).
We also managed to get some lovely family photos included in our baby session because they would have been included in the newborn shoot that we had originally booked. For both sessions we struggled to narrow down our photo choices to purchase because there were far too many good ones to pick from! I would definitely recommend Louise for maternity, baby and family photography. I will definitely book sessions in the future.

Louise is fantastic! We recently had our newborn shots done with her. She was great with our not-very-cooperative newborn and toddler and we have the most beautiful photos to show for it. Louise is a fantastic photographer; very friendly, professional and was excellent with our baby. The studio session was great, very creative and managed to get superb photos even when Addison was being a bit uncooperative. I was so glad she was able to do our photo shoot during the pandemic; she wore a mask and adhered to strict hygiene measures which made us feel comfortable with our new born. Wouldn't go anywhere else to get professional photos taken. Thanks again Louise!

We absolutely loved our newborn photoshoot! Louise was brilliant, she had our little boy smiling and so content she's a natural with babies as well as a talented photographer. I loved the range of outfits backdrops and props Louise had and we managed to get so many different looking photos. Very professional spotless clean studio, we could sit back and relax with a coffee (well needed after newborn night feeds), the atmosphere was lovely.
I loved the quick turnaround for the photos and I was able to get our Christmas cards and thank you cards out with our beautiful images. We will cherish them forever and can't thank Louise enough for our amazing images. Highly recommend as I was recommended by two friends and have since had three new mum friends contact me asking who shot our beautiful images.

We had a newborn session with Louise when our son was just 7 days old. Louise was amazing! We were apprehensive as we were barely getting an hours sleep, never mind him sleeping and being posed for pictures, but Louise totally put him at ease and he was a little angel! As the studio is at her home you feel welcome and comfortable as soon as you go in!
And there are lots of different backgrounds, props, wraps and outfits to chose from. I couldn't recommend Louise enough and we will definitely be booking a cake smash for Rory's first birthday!

Lousie is our go to photographer! Not only has she done our photographs for our wedding and my sister in law. Lousie has also done 2 newborn shoots for our babies.
