We operate from two city centre drive-in studios. Our clients are both national and international. We shoot roomsets, lifestyle and still life, in the studio and on location. We shoot international poster campaigns, fortyeight page brochures, and have produced and maintained lifestyle photolibraries. We use a high quality digital setup as well as film.

Street Report

I've carried some sort of camera with me most days since I was about 10. My advertising work is carefully planned, considered and executed. By contrast, this work is more instinctive. In advertising we create mood and atmosphere, build and decorate, use make-up and retouching. This is where I photograph just what I see.

Our studio is 500 metres from the sea. Some days I'm lucky enough to walk along the seashore on my way to work. I love these seaworn shells, old tin lids and bits of wood. I photograph them wet, because it brings out their colour, and that's usually the way I find them.

A small boy spends his entire holiday allowance on a VP Twin plastic camera. Work starts properly while still at Art School (Graphic Design BA, deferred) in 1969 with a project on British Hell's Angels which is widely published in books and magazines throughout the UK.
