My 2 month old baby grandson, my son and daughter in law over from Singapore enjoyed a truly creative and magical photo shoot. It was relaxed and inspirational with all the props David has in his comfortable studio. The whole family had fun, and the quality of photos shown in a film afterwards were clear, heartwarming and incredibly professional.

I used the studios for some photos about a year ago, I was really looking forward to getting some photos of my daughter but unfortunately I couldn't have been anymore disappointed with the experience I had. I found David the photographer to be very unhelpful and to be frank extremely rude, I didn't feel at all at ease with him. It was very cold in the studios as well and I was quite concerned as this was for a new born shoot, he dismissed my concerns though. The photos were average and for the price they charge, I wouldn't recommend them at all. Very disappointing!

What a pleasure it was to sit down in this lovely studio. The service I received by the owner of the shop was lovely and chatty, even was nice to offer a tea or coffee and during the long session even was offered lunch. Will be more then happy to go back to for any professional photos that I require with my next service. 5 star all the way!

We found Portland Studios - Baby Art on Facebook towards the end of my partner's pregnancy. She got in touch and spoke with David at the branch in Sandgate near Folkestone, who had a discussion over the phone where he outlined how the shoot worked and was completely open and honest with pricing. We were asked to get in touch when our son arrived. When our son was born, we spoke to David again and we were quickly booked in for the shoot.
The studios are beautiful. Very intimate and everything you would need for yourselves and your baby (drinks, changing facilities, food, etc). David involves us throughout the shoot as well as our older child ensuring the whole experience was enjoyable for us all. Two weeks after the shoot, we returned to view the photos. We were shown a great slideshow of all our photos and then taken through each one individually, as well as the signature pieces (only available when buying art). We walked away chuffed with all the photos and the experience as a whole. We would definitely recommend Portland Studios - Baby Art to any expecting parents.

We have visited twice for the grow with me package- both times have been very good. Dave set up is effective and professional. For example we took our newborn the first time and Dave took photos of her with props, we would lift her and he would swap the props within seconds, take more photos and repeat. Overall the shoot didn't take long and we had around 50 amazing pictures of us and our baby in a variation of props and styles.
His prices are very good and he's a very friendly chap which goes a long way when your trying to get a baby to sit still for a photoshoot! He's always offered us a drink and his waiting room feels homely. We're looking forward to our next photoshoot.

Did a "Watch Your Baby Grow" package with Portland Studios, and we loved it! It was a brilliant service, all set up with props ready to go. Warm atmosphere (literally - as he had heaters on so the baby wouldn't be cold), very friendly staff, and a highly professional service. We have 2 more sessions to go with Dave, and we are looking forward to them.
From our first session, we didn't hesitate to purchase the full CD of photos as they were brilliant, and great value for money. I've already recommended Dave and his services to others - who all love the photos taken. Great stuff!

We visited the studios in June '16 for the first of our Watch Me Grow baby shoots, couldn't be happier with the service and the photos. Lovely combination of a professional but personable approach, great at holding our little girl's attention for the photos and some lovely relaxed sets and backdrops. The coffee was most welcome too. Definitely recommended, and looking forward to going back in a few months for the next set of photos.

We had a kids birthday party shoot at Portland Studios last weekend for my 10 year old daughter and a group of friends. Photographer and owner David Hebditch made the girls very welcome and they all relaxed into the shoot very quickly. They had great fun and the photographs are outstanding - the perfect record of a memorable afternoon. Thanks again David!
