Kearney Ray Photography Ltd I have been in love with photography all my life and when my daughter was born my passion took off. As I became more interested, being a man, I obviously needed more equipment to make me a 'better photographer'. How wrong could I be. Having the best canvas and paint brushes does not make me an artist. I soon realised there are only two things that matter in photography; the eye and the finger.

If you can't 'see' the image or know when to press the shutter you won't get the shot. My style is based on the fact that I have never come across anyone who hates having their photograph taken more than me.
Services
We will capture the emotions, atmosphere, passion, romance and all the happy moments for you to look at forever. Because I own a pair of scissors it doesn't mean I'm a hairdresser. Don't leave the recording of the memories of your wedding to someone who happens to own a camera.
We will be there to photograph those little moments of the wedding ceremony that mean so much. Having two photographers means you get close ups of the wedding ceremony and the wedding ceremony as your friends and family saw it.
Wedding photography should not intrude on the day. However if the Bride and Groom would like that special shot we will work out how to give it to them with the minimum of fuss and provide the maximum of impact.
Lifestyle photography is a record of who you are and what you like to do rather than a photograph of someone posing with a car, motorbike, horse, boat etc. Owning a motor bike isn't like owning a car. You become one with a bike. People don't often drive a car for pleasure, a bike is different. They are bought with the heart rather than the head as with a car.

Shopping Malls are full of photography stands where babies can be crammed into flower pots or positioned awkwardly on cream fur throws with feather boas around their necks for cheesy soft focus shots which used to be reserved for more mature ladies. Photographs capture moments in time and it is my belief that you get what you pay for, so if you simply want some cheap pics to send to the Grandparents at Christmas time, then go right ahead with your 10 supermarket deals. However, for classy, well lit portraits which will hang on your walls for years to come, it is advisable to visit a professional studio. Ray Kearney Photography is very much the latter.

A father and daughter team based in Sale town centre, this photographers can combine traditional techniques with modern images and they are leagues apart from the stilted, staged portraits that many other photographers seem to produce. Childrens' portraits are subtle characterisations of your little angels; there are no feather boas or plant pots here. Children are allowed to have fun during their shoot and their personalities are captured on film. Ray Kearney listens to the customer's wishes and for indiviual and couples' shots, adults are encouraged to be natural and the photos which are produced show the emotions of their subjects. Ray also takes photographs of families, events and wedding parties.

The studio was established in 2003 but Ray has over 20 years of experience in his art and his photographs are testament to his talent. Prices vary and whilst they are considerably more expensive than other photographers, these photos will be your favourites for a very long time. Too pretty to be stuck in an album!
