I learnt so much from Mike, s photography master class & enjoyed it thoroughly with his down to earth genuine warm & friendly character & teaching skills, has great easy relatable explanations to make what could be complicated simple. Also has voice thats very easy to listen to, even my flatmate commented how she loved the sound of his voice. Mike Browne's Masterclass in Photography helped me tremendously. I already knew how to use my camera in manual mode, but his explanation of light and the superpowers of ISO, shutter, and aperture gave me new insights I had not frankly thought of before. I am glad I took the course (with the live feedback sessions with Mike on Google Meetings)and highly recommend it to anybody hoping to improve their photography skills.

I would without any doubt 100% recommend Mikes course's to any one, not just beginners. I've just completed the 7 building blocks of photography. I used to think because I knew how to use the settings on my camera, I should be able to take a decent photo, so how come I just wasn't getting photos that stood out or made me proud. I tried to blame it on the fact I just wasn't the creative type. 7 bb taught me exactly why and really changed my photography, I didn't even need to be creative, I just had to think like a photographer and now It just all clicks into place, I truly get it. I have just completed Mikes 4 week course - A Masterclass In Photography. What a trip. Mike is an excellent teacher and his four week course which includes many instructive videos takes you from camera basics right through to the magic of light and composition and being able to take photographs confidently. I once heard a friend say that you really don't learn to drive until you get a drivers license. After completing Mike's course I have learnt skills that I to can definitely build on. Masterclass in Photography is a great course to improve the photography skills. Mike Browne is brilliant in his teaching in easy to understand, practical step by step instruction. I have been "studying" photography skills for a few years now, but in these video lessons I have learned so much more than I thought I would. An example is how I understand now why some of my pics were soft, even at F22. I have learned so much especially in depth of field and picture sharpness, Thanks, Mike!

What an amazing course A Masterclass in Photography is! Truly inspirational. If you are a complete DSLR beginner, like I was, and desperate to learn, then look no further. Mike will talk you through the very basics in a way that it's impossible not to understand. His video tutorials are incredibly well structured, hugely entertaining and totally addictive.

One of my personal favourites is his demonstration of how aperture and shutter speed work using a glass of milk. Mike has inspired me to look at the world with photographer's eyes, to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary. Thank you so much!

Having just completed the Ultimate Beginners course I can honestly say that this would be suitable for anyone from about age 8 up to fossil-status - Mike is clear, concise, accurate, funny BUT most importantly he imparts information in a way which is easy to understand - his enthusiasm is infectious in the best possible way - Furthermore he should be highly commended for what he puts out on a regular basis for free.

Even if you are not a beginner I would still say you could learn a great deal from this course and firmly cement in your mind a thinking order for how to set up a photo before you just click and run. Great Teacher. Thank you - PAUL Lin.

My wife and I recently returned from a weekend photography workshop in Zurich run by Mike Browne Photography Courses. The group was small and very amiable. A camaraderie was soon built up between the participants who were diverse and came from different backgrounds. The weekend was extremely good fun while at the same time the relaxed environment was the perfect mood for learning and bettering our own photography.

Mr Mike Browne led the workshop himself and was a very personable and affable leader. Always on hand to offer his expert advice and encouragement and to give feedback to help us improve. the genial atmosphere that existed throughout the whole weekend was in no small part due to the sublime character that he posseses as a teacher. The weekend itself comprised of 1 day of tranquility by the side of lake Pfeffikon with group exercises and one to one shoots, while the 2nd day comprised of shooting street photography in Zurich city itself.

This day was deliberately planned to coincide with the children's parade at the end of winter festival. We enjoyed 2 wonderful days of photography in the most excellent of company. We couldn't possibly have asked for more.
