We are Alastair & Rose and over the past 20 years, we have loved photographing over 400 weddings for happy couples. Creating memories for the biggest day of your life is a huge privilege. We're proud of our reputation for high quality photography and a personal approach to each wedding. Our team approach means our expertise and help extends further than you'd expect - Alastair will be photographing you on your wedding day while Rose will be there to help with all your needs, far beyond taking pictures.
Creating gorgeous portraits you'll love displaying in your home is our mission. We are 'people' photographers, and our reputation is built on our ability to capture each person's character and best look. A photograph is a moment in time, whether you want it to show the beauty of a new born baby, the joy of a newly engaged couple, a special family bond or just a decent photo of yourself you can feel proud of! Depending on what you prefer, the shoot can take place in our studio space just off the Edinburgh bypass, or out on location.
For every wedding we offer full day coverage with both Alastair and Rose, from your final preparations to the first few dances in the evening. We edit the photographs in-house and prepare a mix of colour, black & white and custom colour tones. Our minimum package is a USB drive with high resolution printable images of around 300 images.

Fantastic wedding photography. We are a little way out of Edinburgh in Fife and we saw their exhibition at a wedding fayre and had to have the steel book album on display. Travelling half way to meet us wasn't a problem when it came to the planning stage and the wedding day was relaxed and blessed with beautiful autumn weather. The photographs have turned out amazing and our album sits proudly on the coffee table. Thank you for an amazing service.

Alastair and Rose did the most incredible job of photographing our wedding. From the start they were both very friendly and evidently had a vast wealth of experience in wedding photography. They have covered many venues, including the one we were married at, and so could give us lots of examples and ideas for the best shots, both inside and outside the venue.
They were very meticulous at making a note of the group shots and other specific photos we wanted and made sure these were taken. On the wedding day itself they were very attentive and heroically battled through the rain to give us some beautiful photographs that have become our favourite. Throughout the day they worked quickly and non-intrusively, allowing us to spend lots of time with our guests and without making the photographs feel like an interruption at all.
The photographs were stunning, and (particularly as someone who doesn't like having their photograph taken!) we could not have been more delighted. We had a great mixture of natural 'in the moment' pictures and others that are beautifully stylish. The final album was finished to a very high standard and is something that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
We've had some amazing compliments from family and friends who have seen our wedding photographs. Put simply, Alastair and Rose are both professional and personable, producing beautiful photographs and creating a very high-quality end product. We could not recommend them highly enough.

Exactly what we were looking for: great at getting people organised when we needed them to, and gave everyone plenty of space the rest of the time. Photos and album design are excellent, and their cat is adorable! They're particularly good at catching photos when people are relaxed and happy, rather than forcing people to pose at awkward moments.

I first met Alistair and Rose at my sisters wedding and I always knew if I was to get married, there would be no one else that I would choose. They are both so lovely and friendly and professional. We had such a great day with them and our photographs are just stunning. I can't stop looking at them. I would recommend them to everyone! They are the best!

Alastair and Rose did our wedding photography last year and then this year portrait photographs of our baby. They are an amazing team and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Friendly yet professional, experienced and highly competent at taking the very best pictures. If I was in need of photography in the future I would go back to them, no questions asked.
