Alie was just fantastic throughout the whole process - she was incredibly accommodating which was very valuable given we had people coming from all over and I keep getting more and more feedback form the team about how at ease she made them feel and how happy they are with the photos. We would absolutely use Blue Sky again and have already made sure they are ready for when our team expands next!

We had the best experience with Blue Sky, specifically with Sarah. My family went to her as a group who don't like having their photo taken and she was able to do the impossible and produce amazing family photos for us. We were welcomed and made to feel at ease. The session itself didn't last as long as we imagined and that was good. The review session was excelled and she helped us narrow down our choices. I would absolutely recommend Blue Sky to everyone and we will certainly be back for more family photos in future, next time with our dog!

It's difficult to put into words just how good Blue Sky are at what they do. Alie and Niels photographed our wedding and did an amazing job at every stage of the process - friends and family still talk about just how good they were over 2 years later. Everything about the planning and prep was carefully considered (we felt so supported) but also really fun.

They acutely understand the stresses involved in arranging a wedding and actively reduced that for us because they were such a pleasure to work with! On the day itself, they went above and beyond, ensuring every shot we wanted was covered, making everyone feel super relaxed and comfortable during the posed pictures and even arranging the odd taxi when some planned transport fell through.

They balanced incredible professionalism with energy and genuine enthusiasm and the final results were fantastic. They are super photographers and super people - you will not regret working with them, guaranteed!

We had such a lovely time having some family photos taken and have got the most beautiful photographs, thank you. Such a relaxed atmosphere, not rushed and Alie managed to get lovely photos despite some protests from children. Could not recommend Blue Sky enough! Alie & Niels captured our wedding day perfectly. Their service was amazing, fun to have around on your wedding day & the final album was amazing. Going to their studio to look at the photos is a very nice touch that we thought was different!!

My wife and I had Sarah at Blue Sky take some photos of us for our home and to give to friends. We had never done anything like this before, and weren't sure what to expect. The complete experience was hugely enjoyable and the photos were superb. Sarah made the whole thing simple and straightforward, whilst still getting great shots from the various poses she suggested we adopt.

We ended up having her print a number of photos, including a large format (32" x 32") one that we had framed. Everyone who has seen the photos is impressed by them, and we've recommended Blue Sky to friends and family. We've also asked Sarah to take some more shots in the future, when we go to our timeshare in Dunkeld.

I found Blue Sky without recommendation, purely by Googling. Arriving at Blue Sky and seeing our family name on the blackboard by the entrance was a classy touch. The studio is immaculate and I immediately felt that I had made a quality choice. The shoot itself was great - generating so many shots that Sarah helped us narrow down to the ones that mattered most.

I was slightly emotional when we arrived to see the short list - real quality photos, beautifully presented. It took me a while to get organised with frame choices, but again Sarah was very patient, generating mock-ups of what things would look like, which makes life much easier online, and prevents having to go back to the studio to choose. Eventually, I bought 5 frames in total. Worth every penny.

If there was a sixth star, I would give it to Blue Sky, and then I'd try to give them an additional few. If you're looking for photographers who go the extra mile (the extra marathon?), you've found the dynamic duo of Alie and Niels at Blue Sky, so you can officially look no further. From the first email through until the last handwritten card from them, they went above and beyond, continuing to (somehow) exceed expectations. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We cannot recommend Sarah at Blue Sky Photography enough. Sarah was absolutely excellent, very friendly, explained everything and gave us good advice. She's dedicated and professional. Sarah was great with our two small boys. All the photos are absolutely fantastic. We loved having our newborn photographed by Blue Sky at their studio in Morningside. The studio was great and Alie was so friendly. We were well looked after by the team. Alie was great with our newborn, very patient. The photos that she produced looked great. We are very happy with Blue Sky and really happy that we picked them. I have worked with Alie and Niels on and off for about 12 years and have huge respect and affection for them. They have a genuine and infectious enthusiasm for their trade. They are creative, fun-loving, highly skilled and modest all rolled into one. The sign of a good photographer is that you rebook when you realise you've been using the same images for 6 years! Alie is a brilliant headshot photographer - she has a knack of making you feel so relaxed and at home in the studio that you don't really notice she's working hard at creating the range of shots you need. For my purposes, that included both character and presenter images, and I'm delighted with what she produced. When someone makes me look this good, I'll definitely be back...

I needed a few photos for work and a friend recommended Blue Sky Photography, she had used their services and was delighted with the results. I booked in with Sarah and instantly felt at ease with her direction and professionalism. We got the shot, actually a few and I was over the moon with them, so much so, I booked in again to get some more for my website.

Alie photographed our wedding in June. I cannot recommend Blue Sky enough! Absolutely everything was just fantastic. Right from the beginning, they were a pleasure to work with - always prompt at replying, so friendly and with a really slick booking process. Then we met Alie and things just got better. She was so lovely, knowledgeable and professional.

On the wedding day itself, she was such a welcome addition. We all felt so at ease with her, she was a calming presence and seemed to manage to capture perfect photos of every moment without ever disturbing the flow of the day. Many of our guests commented on how lovely our photographer was. Then after the wedding she arranged a viewing in their beautiful studio which was such a treat.
